Real Photo is re-appeared

besides printing flyers for church youth event, tis is the first time printing out my "master piece", due to the advance of technology, not many ppl wil develop their photos as hard copy like wat we did last time, cuz nowadays we can upload to internet and chances of "showing off" is higher..

my aunt is going oversea for vacation, she wil b seeing some of her relative there, so she asked me to print out some photos of me n my family including some photos tat taken during mother's day, so tat she can show them who we are.. yes, we nvr see each other b4, except my dad, i think atleast they met b4 during my parent's wedding.. -_-"

kinda proud of myself for wat i've taken.. keke.. i purposely printed out 1 of the vietnam pic, see how does it look like in hard copy.. the result is... not bad~~

tis is the soft copy, it came out better than wat i expected when i see the printed one..

Langkawi.. again

back from langkawi, think need to write something, instead of explaining how's the trip, i would say wat i've learnt from the trip.. i met new fren, regine, hang hang's sis, she likes photography, but didn own a dslr, cuz she said her parent wont buy for her for she cant take good care of thing, mm.. anyway, i cant bother so much, i just know tat she is quite good in taking photo as a beginner, instead, i learned something from her too..

her way of taking photo, she wil learn watever she could n need, so i taught n share some knowledge (which is not much i know), she picked up fast n try any ways she like, snap snap snap.. bcuz of tat she taken good pics especially portrait, she can grab human expression well without bothering anything around her nor thinking too much..

to describe my way of taking photo, 1 word -> shy or timid or 鬼祟 (gui xu), think a lot b4 taking pic or taking pic when only inspiration come.. -_-

War Photographer

i watched a video which introduced by my fren, War Photographer - James Nachtwey. it's about a war photographer involved in war to shoot "the story", during war and after war. i really respect him as a pro photographer or may b a story teller, the way how he fully committed his life in photo shooting, bringing back wat he has seen thru his eye, instead of his lense (wit his dusty camera). the way he shoot, photos tat taken by him, is not about wat camera nor lense he use nor how skillful he is, but is all about wat he sees, and telling u to be aware of wat is happening around us, bcuz of tat, he shot amazing photo. 

i nvr have so much inspiration/interest to shoot portrait (as if i'm a pro photographer =p), as my fren realized, i like to shoot object (may b is easier to shoot n giving u wider imagination behind the object instead of people who can straight forward telling u from their expression). after seeing Nachtwey's master piece, shooting human might b easy if given opportunity but whether can grab the juice of it n stirring up ur heart.. mm..

when i watch the video, look at his photos, i wonder how he shoot when the situation was so dangerous and all tis people were so emotional, he was so near to tis ppl and they nvr bother his existence at all. then he said, he approach them, he communicate wit them.. they know wat he wanna do, they wil allow him to have his way and do their part: cry, fight, etc..

while i was waiting for casting (nope, i'm not involving as talent, just helping up my in video casting), i checked email, my fren sent me olympic opening ceremony photos tat were not shown in the tv.. it's awesome! i salute the director - Zhang Yi Mou (张艺谋) thou i didn watch the opening ceremony..

Temporary Beginner

just bought a cleaner set and screen protector for my babe (400D), finally it's protected since i bought it..

when i pay for my stuff

salesman: "r u a student?"

my sis help me replied: "y? if student got discount?"

salesman: "nola, cuz normally student buy so many stuff (in one time)"

salesman: "wat lense r u using?"

me: "oh, just kit lense, i just bought my cam.."

salesman: "wanna buy potrait?"

me: "mm.. nola.."

then my sis whispered,

"wat is potrait"

me: "i oso dunno.. =p"

i asked the salesman,

"wat is potrait?"

he wondered and said,

"potrait? it's a lense like tis.." then he shown me a 50mm, f1/8 lense. btw, it's cost 300++, for beginner who wanna play around wit lense..

"oh, it's prime lense.." i said

"say la prime lense.. how i know wat is potrait.." said in my heart..

then he intro me more of the lenses.. b4 i leave, he said i can come back wit my cam to test the lense, n if dunno how to use (dunno how to use wat?) can come back to him.. -_-

he sounded like i dunno how to use camera, -_- may b i look blur, ask lots of question b4 i buy.. err... anyway, i memang a beginner.. but tat's just temporary! i'll master the camera, shots will not slipped thru my hands..

i got tis website from a fren of mine, when i saw her photo, i was so jealous! it's so nice!! (defination of nice photo to me is simply sincere and having a sense of feeling), most of the photos taken in places around us, things tat we always see but we didn bother, n she captured.. ish! so nice..

New Babe

my first DSLR! tis is wat i long for, got it b4 the time i expected, now is promotion, it's rm500++ cheaper than normal price.. thanks to my dad, he pay for me first! =p and thank God that i got my own dslr at cheaper price.. =D
